We are looking for Database Administrator (DBA) specializing in MySQL and PostgreSQL who is responsible for the health, security, and performance of an organization’s open-source database systems. This role blends high-level architectural planning with day-to-day maintenance to ensure data remains accessible and protected.
2.PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

Administration & Maintenance: Installing, configuring, and upgrading database instances on Linux or cloud platforms like AWS RDS or Google Cloud SQL.
Performance Tuning: Monitoring database health and optimizing queries, indexing, and configurations using tools like EXPLAIN and slow query logs.
Data Security: Implementing user access controls, authentication, and encryption to protect sensitive data.
High Availability & Disaster Recovery: Designing and testing backup/restore procedures and managing replication or clustering to ensure maximum uptime.
Capacity Planning: Forecasting storage and resource needs to ensure the database can scale as data volumes grow.
