Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day hospital store operations efficiently.
- Maintain accurate inventory records of medical consumables, drugs, surgical items, and general supplies.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment to prevent shortages.
- Coordinate with the procurement department for purchase requests and material receipts.
- Verify inward and outward stock transactions and maintain proper documentation.
- Ensure proper storage, handling, and stock rotation of hospital inventory.
- Conduct periodic physical stock verification and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain inventory records using ERP or hospital inventory management software.
- Prepare inventory reports and support audits as required.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and inventory control procedures.
Eligibility Criteria
- Graduate in any discipline.
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience in hospital stores, inventory management, stock control, and procurement coordination.
- Experience with ERP or inventory management software is preferred.
- Knowledge of medical consumables, surgical items, and hospital inventory processes.
- Good organisational, analytical, and record-keeping skills.
- Basic computer proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word).
