Profile:
The Cluster Manager is responsible for strategic leadership, operational management, and overall educational outcomes across a designated cluster of schools. This role involves overseeing multiple Success Managers, driving academic excellence, resource management, staff development, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals and policies at the cluster level.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Leadership & Planning:
- Develop and implement strategic plans for the cluster to enhance educational quality, operational efficiency, and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Translate the organizational vision into explicit, actionable objectives for each school in the cluster.
- Align cluster-level initiatives with overall organizational goals and educational vision.
- Lead change management efforts and innovative practices across schools in the cluster.
2. Academic Excellence & Quality Assurance:
- Review academic delivery, curriculum adherence, and lesson planning quality across all schools.
- Monitor student performance data and ensure interventions for underperforming grades or groups.
- Review assessment plans and ensure they are conducted on time, with robust evaluation and analysis.
- Facilitate sharing of best practices between schools to drive continuous academic improvement.
- Drive schools in the cluster towards achieving Level 4 as in the SQAAF framework, ensuring continuous quality improvement and adherence to national benchmarks.
3. Operational Management & Oversight:
- Support Success Managers and other staff within the cluster to ensure consistent and effective school-level implementation.
- Monitor academic performance, technology adoption, and school functioning across the cluster through periodic reviews and data analysis.
