About the Role
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and process accurate IPD bills for admitted patients.
- Verify patient records, treatment details, investigations, and medication charges before bill generation.
- Coordinate with nursing staff, consultants, pharmacy, diagnostics, and other departments to ensure billing accuracy.
- Process advance payments, interim bills, final bills, and discharge billing.
- Handle insurance, TPA, and corporate billing documentation, where applicable.
- Resolve patient and attendant billing queries professionally and efficiently.
- Maintain billing records and ensure compliance with hospital billing policies.
- Generate daily billing reports and reconcile transactions.
- Ensure timely completion of discharge billing to facilitate a smooth patient discharge process.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and financial records.
Eligibility Criteria
- Graduate in any discipline.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Hospital IPD Billing.
- Good understanding of hospital billing procedures and patient billing processes.
- Experience with Hospital Information Systems (HIS) or Hospital Management Software will be an added advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.:
