In the context of the MRO facility for M88 military engines in India, as the General Ledger Accountant, you will be responsible for managing the financial records and transactions essential to the startup and ongoing operations of the facility. Your role is vital in ensuring accurate bookkeeping, timely reporting, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. By providing clear financial insights, you will support decision-making processes that help the new shop grow sustainably and maintain financial health.

Job Requirements:
- MAIN DUTIES- Recording Transactions: Posting journal entries for various transactions (such as accruals, prepaid, fixed assets, and others)



into the general ledger.
- Reconciliation: Reconciling general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.
- Month-End and Year-End Closing: Assisting in the closing process by preparing relevant entries and ensuring all transactions for the period have been properly recorded.
- Financial Reporting: Supporting the preparation of financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, etc.) by ensuring data integrity in the general ledger.
- Compliance: Ensuring that all accounting activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and internal controls.
- Audit Support: Providing information and reports to auditors, and assisting in audit processes as required.
- Forecasting: Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting
- Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accurate financial data flow
