Job Summary

Senior Infrastructure Operations Specialist - GCP Core & Compute Operations\

Role & Responsibilities\
\
\
\
Serve as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for the Compute GCP platform within Infrastructure Operations, ensuring efficient coordination between Operations, SRE, Transition, Project, and external vendor teams. Manage and prioritize incoming operational tasks, drive incident escalations to resolution, and collaborate with Service Delivery Managers and HCL leads on Incident, Problem, and Change Management activities. Support cloud migration and post-migration operations by coordinating with Windows, Linux, Virtualization, and SRE teams, while proactively identifying operational gaps and driving continuous improvement. Act as the bridge between project and operations teams, ensuring feedback is captured and incorporated into future cloud rollouts. Work within Agile/Scrum environments and leverage Jira for workflow and task management.\

Must-Have Skills\

Experience in Infrastructure Operations,



Service Management, or IT Operations.\
\
Strong knowledge of Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes.\
\
Proven stakeholder management, coordination, and escalation handling skills.\
\
Experience working across multiple technology teams and service providers.\
\
Strong understanding of enterprise workflows and cross-team dependencies.\
\
Agile/Scrum experience and hands-on use of Jira.\
\
Foundational knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP).\
\
Excellent communication, prioritization, and organizational skills.\
\
Good-to-Have Skills\
\
\
\
Experience within the Nordea workplace or a large enterprise financial organization.\
\
Hands-on exposure to Windows, Linux, or Virtualization technologies.\
\
Experience supporting cloud migration and transformation initiatives.\
\
Familiarity with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) operations.
