1. Essential Academic Qualifications
- Undergraduate Degree: A valid MBBS degree from an institution or medical college recognized by the NMC. [1]
- Compulsory Internship: Completion of a one-year rotating internship following the final MBBS examination. [1]
- MD/DNB in General Medicine:
- MD/DNB in Paediatrics (specifically for entering DM in Pediatric Nephrology)
- _Note: The NMC has also set up a panel to evaluate adding MD Tropical Medicine as an eligible feeder qualification._ [1, 2, 3, 4]
