The Sales Executive is responsible for generating and converting sales leads through phone calls, IndiaMART, digital inquiries, and other marketing channels. The role involves maintaining solid customer relationships, preparing quotations, coordinating with internal departments, and supporting the company's sales and marketing activities to achieve business targets.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Lead Management
- Generate new business opportunities by making outbound sales calls.
- Convert inquiries into qualified leads and sales orders.
- Maintain regular follow-up with prospective customers until closure.
- Achieve monthly sales and lead conversion targets.
2. IndiaMART Management
- Manage the company's IndiaMART account on a daily basis.
- Respond promptly to all buyer inquiries.
- Prepare and send quotations through the IndiaMART portal.
- Update product catalogues, images, specifications, and pricing.
- Improve inquiry response time and lead conversion rate.
- Monitor IndiaMART performance reports and generate leads.
3. Marketing Support
- Coordinate with the Digital Marketing team for lead generation campaigns.
- Follow up on leads received from Google Ads, Meta Ads, website, exhibitions, and social media.
- Support promotional campaigns, dealer development, and product launches.
- Collect customer feedback and market information.
4. Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers and dealers.
- Provide product information, technical specifications, pricing, and availability.
- Handle customer queries and complaints professionally.
- Coordinate with the service team for after-sales support when required.
5. Quotation & Documentation
- Prepare quotations, proforma invoices, and sales proposals.
- Maintain customer records and sales documentation.
