Job Summary:
Qualcomm is seeking an experienced compliance investigator with a strong background in planning and conducting internal investigations relating to the protection of intellectual property and trade secrets, as well as other compliance related investigations, including fraud, kickbacks, and violation of corporate compliance policies. The candidate will work independently and as part of cross-functional teams and must be proactive, diligent, exercise excellent judgement,



and understanding of risk-based balance of multiple corporate goals. We are looking for someone with substantial experience leading investigations for a publicly traded, multinational, from initial assessment through resolution (root cause analysis and remediation), including supporting privileged legal matters. This position requires effective collaboration with key stakeholders in Legal, IT, Global Security, and HR/ER, among others.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work independently and exercise sound judgment with little supervision.
Monitor and track alleged mishandling or misuse of trade secrets and intellectual property.
Triage incoming allegations, including review of, IT security alerts, network logs, assessing information sensitivity, and potential risk of ongoing or future harm.
Conduct assigned investigations as directed by senior members of the compliance team, often in coordination IT, Global Security, and HR/ER.
