Associate - II, Leverage Finance - Nuveen Global Investment Operations
The successful candidate will be an experienced, energetic, and contributing member of a highly driven group of professionals focused on settlements, Loan and CLO Operations. This person will work as a part of a dynamic team in a rapidly growing Leveraged Loan and CLO trading environment. The individual is expected to possess strong problem solving and analytical skills, as well as a thorough understanding of leveraged loan and CLO operations

Key Responsibilities and Duties
Complete various loan administration tasks, including trade processing, loan reconciliations, and trade settlement.
Assist Trustees, Loan Administrators, Legal, Tax, and Compliance with regards to trade confirmations, allocations, KYC documentation, settlements, metrics, and industry initiatives.
Communicate effectively with traders/business partners at all levels and build robust working relationships
Support the settlement process of loan syndications, secondary loan trades, CLO’s, and restructures, including funding and documentation matters.




Research and respond to ad-hoc inquiries on discrepancies – position breaks, price
Ensure adherence to compliance and regulatory requirements
Reconciliation in BBG Aim for Bank loans & Leverage Loans.
Work directly with IT or vendors to resolve any technical issues
Ensure all process and audit trail documentation is up-to-date at all times
Perform yearly SOP review and process documents.
Conduct process enhancement forums within team.
Actively provide input to and implement process improvements
Identify, escalate, and thereby proactively manage delivery risks
Maintain and provide timely and accurate MI of process performance and risk
Educational Requirements
University (Degree) Preferred
Work Experience
3+ Years Required; 5+ Years Preferred
