Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of biomedical equipment.
- Install, inspect, test, and calibrate medical devices.
- Diagnose and resolve equipment faults in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with clinical staff and equipment vendors for service support.
- Maintain service records, maintenance logs, and equipment history.
- Ensure compliance with hospital quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Support equipment commissioning, user training, and documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma in Biomedical Engineering or ITI in Maintenance (or a related technical trade).
- Experience:
1-3 years in biomedical equipment maintenance or equipment maintenance in a hospital/industrial setting.
- Good knowledge of medical equipment troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
Preferred Skills
- Hands-on experience with ICU, OT, laboratory, and diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to prioritize multiple maintenance tasks.
- Basic computer knowledge for documentation and reporting.
