Assistant Sales Manager – Progressive Cavity Pumps (India)

Job Summary:
The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) will be responsible for driving sales and revenue growth of progressive cavity pumps (PCPs) across the assigned regions. This role will involve building and nurturing relationships with recent and existing customers, identifying market opportunities, and managing the full sales cycle. The RSM will work closely with the technical and support teams to deliver customized solutions to clients in diverse industries such as oil and gas, water treatment, food and beverage, chemicals, mining, and others.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve sales targets for progressive cavity pumps across India.
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, target industries, and customer needs.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to develop a competitive sales approach.
- Increase the funnel size from the assigned region.

2. Customer Relationship Management:




- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, engineers, consultants, and distributors.
- Develop a deep understanding of customer requirements to offer tailored solutions using PCPs.
- Provide technical support and guidance to customers on product selection and application.

3. Sales Execution:
- Lead the entire sales process from lead generation, product presentations, negotiation, to closing the sale.
- Coordinate with the engineering and product teams to ensure timely delivery and installation of pumps and associated equipment.
- Develop and deliver effective product presentations and demonstrations to customers.

4. Market Penetration & Expansion:
- Identify and target new clients in key industrial sectors where PCPs can offer a significant advantage.
- Increase market share in existing client accounts and expand into untapped regions or industries.
