Job Description:
The Specialist I, Integration is a technical role focused on developing, deploying and maintaining HL7-based integration solutions and supporting complex integration projects. This role focuses on foundational data exchange and interoperability concepts, particularly in regulated and industry-specific environments such as healthcare, financial services, or enterprise systems.
Interface Implementation:
Lead the design and architecture of healthcare integration solutions that align with client requirements and industry best practices.
Design, develop, and maintain integration solutions using HL7, FHIR, APIs, and other healthcare interoperability standards.
Develop customized integration solutions by extending industry standards to meet specific client requirements.
Develop advanced transformations, mappings, and custom scripts using JavaScript and related technologies.
Leverage hands-on knowledge of AWS to support integration deployments where applicable.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration and interoperability challenges.

Client-Facing Consultations:




Engaging clients to understand their requirements and provide technical support at a high level.
Support interface testing efforts, including unit testing and message validation. Document integration workflows and support ticket resolution.

Oversight and Mentorship:
Contribute to knowledge sharing and support peer development through collaboration and best practice discussions.
Providing mentorship and technical leadership to ensure team success.

Compliance and Standards:
Ensuring integration aligns with standards such as HL7, FHIR, APIs, and other relevant protocols.
Keeping solutions compliant with industry-specific regulations (e.g., HIPAA in healthcare).

Perform other duties that support the overall objective of the position.

Education Required:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
