Planout Group is looking for an SEO Intern who will primarily work on the organic growth of Vokka Perfumes.
The role will focus on improving Vokka’s visibility across Google Search and other organic discovery channels through keyword research, on-page SEO, content optimization, technical SEO basics, competitor analysis and backlink research.
This internship is ideal for someone who wants hands-on experience in growing a quick-moving D2C and ecommerce brand through SEO rather than only learning SEO theoretically.
You will work closely with the Marketing, Content, Ecommerce and Website teams at Planout Group to improve organic traffic, keyword rankings and conversions for Vokka Perfumes.

How ecommerce SEO differs from traditional website SEO
How to optimize content around keywords such as product categories, fragrance types, gifting occasions and customer search intent
How to perform competitor SEO analysis
How to identify keyword gaps and content opportunities
How to use tools such as Google Search Console and Google Analytics
Basics of SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Ubersuggest or similar platforms
How to track keyword rankings, impressions, clicks, CTR and organic traffic
How to identify pages that are losing or gaining organic traffic
How to create SEO content briefs for blogs and landing pages
How to build an SEO-driven content calendar
Basics of technical SEO, including indexing, crawlability, canonical tags, redirects and site structure
How to identify and fix basic SEO issues such as broken links, duplicate content and missing metadata
How to improve internal linking across an ecommerce websit
