01-03 years of relevant experience in the Industrial Automation industry, preferably with hands-on experience in:
- Special Purpose Machines (SPMs)
- Gauges and inspection equipment
- Welding fixtures
- Precision machined components
- Automation machine manufacturing
Other Requirements
- Two-wheeler is mandatory.
- Willingness to travel to supplier sites for material and component inspection.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
1. Material & In-Process Inspection
- Conduct material and component inspections at supplier locations.
- Perform incoming material inspection and in-process inspection.
- Verify components as per engineering drawings,
specifications and quality requirements.
- Coordinate with suppliers regarding quality issues and required corrections.
2. Engineering Drawing & GD&T;
- Valuable understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T;, tolerances, limits and fits.
- Interpret dimensional and geometric requirements from engineering drawings.
- Ensure components are manufactured as per specified tolerances and customer requirements.
3. Measuring Instruments
Hands-on knowledge of inspection and measurement instruments, including:
- Vernier Caliper
- Micrometer
- Digital Height Gauge
- Inspection Gauges
- Bore Gauges
- Other precision measuring instruments
