We are looking for an experienced
Data Engineer – Snowflake + IICS
with
7–10 years of overall experience
and strong expertise in
Data Warehousing, Snowflake, Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS), ETL/ELT, SQL, and Data Modeling
.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, migrating, and implementing scalable data solutions on Snowflake. The role requires strong hands-on technical expertise along with the ability to work directly with Business and IT teams to understand requirements, resolve dependencies, and deliver business solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and implement scalable data solutions using Snowflake.
- Design and implement data/enterprise engineering workloads and migrations onto Snowflake.
- Develop and maintain ETL/ELT mappings and workflows using IICS (Informatica Cloud).
- Build data pipelines to ingest source data from SAP S/4HANA into Snowflake.
- Develop complex Snowflake SQL, Stored Procedures, Views, and UDFs.
- Implement incremental data processing and Change Data Capture (CDC)
using Snowflake Streams and Tasks.
- Use Snowflake ingestion capabilities such as COPY INTO, Snowpipe, and related utilities.
- Implement Time Travel and other Snowflake data management capabilities.
- Design and maintain scalable data models for analytical and enterprise workloads.
- Perform SQL query optimization and Snowflake performance tuning.
- Develop automated data processing solutions using Snowflake Tasks.
- Implement and maintain Snowflake Data Sharing and Data Replication solutions.
- Explore and implement newer Snowflake capabilities, including Snowflake Cortex and other contemporary features where applicable.
- Implement CI/CD and DevOps practices for data engineering solutions using Azure DevOps or GitLab.
- Work closely with Business and IT stakeholders to understand requirements and provide technical solutions.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams on requirements, dependencies, issues, and delivery
