Role & responsibilities

Lead Generation & Demand Creation
- Call prospective/existing buyers to generate interest in upcoming auction lots.
- Build and expand a qualified buyer database across categories and geographies.
- Identify and onboard new buyers through cold calling, referrals and market intelligence.
- Drive buyer participation ahead of and during auction cycles.

Auction & Sales Execution
- Support lot preparation, including SKU grouping, lot composition and accurate descriptions.
- Reach out to relevant buyers once lots go live and drive bidding.
- Track auction performance and follow up with target buyers to improve participation.
- Support online and offline lot closures, focusing on both volume and value realization.

Negotiation & Closure
- Negotiate pricing and terms to maximise realization and close lots on time.
- Coordinate with pricing/category teams on floor prices and closure strategy.
- Minimise unsold and ageing inventory.

Buyer Relationship Management
- Handle buyer queries on lots, payments, logistics and platform usage.




- Resolve issues with internal teams and build long-term buyer relationships.
- Encourage repeat participation and reduce buyer acquisition costs.

Reporting & Coordination
- Maintain CRM/Excel records of leads, calls, follow-ups and closures.
- Share daily/weekly performance reports.
- Coordinate with category, operations, marketing, logistics and finance teams.

Preferred candidate profile
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline; Business, Commerce or related field preferred.
- 2-5 years of experience in inside sales, telesales, B2B sales, or auction/liquidation sales experience in recommerce, scrap/liquidation trading, or e-commerce B2B is a strong plus.
- Excellent verbal communication in English and Hindi/relevant regional language(s).
- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills, with the ability to close deals under time pressure.
