Role & responsibilities
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets in MW and revenue.
- Develop new business opportunities across assigned territories and customer segments.
- Appoint and develop new distributors, dealers, and channel partners.
- Drive secondary sales and improve channel sales growth.
- Acquire current OEM, EPC, institutional, commercial, and industrial customers.
- Manage and strengthen relationships with key customers, distributors, and dealers.
- Conduct regular customer, distributor, dealer, and project-site visits.
- Generate leads, manage sales opportunities, and ensure timely follow-up for order conversion.
- Prepare quotations, negotiate commercial terms, and close sales orders.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, pricing, and customer requirements.
- Maintain accurate leads, opportunities, customer visits, and follow-ups in CRM.
- Prepare sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and monthly MIS within defined timelines.
- Coordinate with Production, PPC, Logistics, Finance, Quality, and other departments for smooth order execution.




- Monitor order status, dispatches, customer commitments, and payment follow-ups.
- Identify new markets, territories, and business opportunities for revenue growth.
- Resolve customer and channel-partner issues in coordination with internal teams.
- Ensure achievement of assigned sales KPIs and business development targets.
- Provide regular market intelligence and sales performance updates to management.
- Travel extensively within the assigned territory as required for business development and customer management.

Preferred candidate profile
- Graduate/MBA in Sales, Marketing, Business Management or related field.
- 10-12 years of relevant sales experience, preferably in solar PV modules, renewable energy.
- Strong experience in B2B sales, channel sales, distributor development and key account management.
