Job Description

We are looking for a Design Development Engineer BIW with solid experience in automotive BIW component/product development and sheet-metal design.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and development of BIW components and structures.
- Develop sheet-metal components considering design, manufacturing and assembly requirements.
- Perform technical feasibility and manufacturability studies.
- Prepare and review 3D models, 2D drawings, BOMs and engineering documentation.
- Support design reviews, engineering changes and design releases.
- Work on GD&T;, DFMEA, DFM/DFA and tolerance-related activities.
- Coordinate with suppliers for technical reviews and manufacturing feasibility.




- Support prototype/build activities and resolve production/assembly issues.
- Support component development, validation and engineering change implementation.

Required Skills
- Strong experience in BIW Component / Product Development.
- Hands-on experience in Sheet Metal Design.
- Experience with CATIA / UG-NX.
- Knowledge of BIW manufacturing processes and tooling/die development.
- Strong knowledge of GD&T;, DFMEA, DFM/DFA and engineering drawings.
- Automotive product development and supplier coordination experience.

Mandatory Requirements
- 6 - 8 years of total experience.
- CTC up to 13 LPA.
- Immediate to maximum 15 days notice period preferred.
- Pune location.
- 5 Days WFO.
- Candidates should be available for interview according to requirement either F2F or Virtual after shortlisting.
