Job Title: Estimation Engineer Aerospace Manufacturing Department: Engineering Location: Mysore, India Experience Required: 7 – 10 Years Industry: Aerospace / Defence Manufacturing / Precision Engineering Working Time Zone: UK Time Zone (to support international customers and RFQ cycles) Role Summary: The Estimation Engineer is responsible for evaluating RFQ packages from aerospace and defence customers, assessing manufacturability, mapping production technologies, and preparing accurate cost and time estimates for aerospace components such as sheet-metal structures, ducts, tubes, fabricated assemblies, and precision-machined parts. The role acts as the technical-commercial bridge between engineering, manufacturing, and business development teams, ensuring accurate costing, feasibility assessment, and technology alignment for aerospace manufacturing programs. SECTION 2 – Objective of the Job Role The primary objective of the Estimation Engineer is to deliver accurate, competitive, and technically feasible cost estimates for aerospace manufacturing programs,



enabling the company to win recent business while ensuring manufacturability, compliance with aerospace standards, and sustainable production capability. The role also supports technology roadmap development, manufacturing capability planning, and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce cost, improve cycle time, and enhance operational readiness for new product introductions.
