The Software Development Manager is a vital position in our organization as we grow our software development setting and expand our IT department in Mumbai. Our Software Development department delivers solutions that enable and empower both internal and external customers to manage their business processes most effectively and efficiently. This individual will be tasked with accelerating the modernization of Medpace clinical and administrative software.

Medpace is a full-service clinical contract research organization (CRO) providing phase l-lV clinical development services to the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and medical device industries. Our mission is to accelerate the global development of safe and effective medical therapeutics through the advancement of clinical research. Responsibilities
- Manage software engineers and software development projects to implement effective and high-quality software solutions;
- Collect, analyze, and document user requirements;
- Perform project management, ensure system quality and oversee content management;
- Coordinate with company-wide leadership regarding software development projects;
- Design, modify, develop, support, install, and document software applications;
- Participate in software quality control and validation processes through development, code review, and/or execution of test plan/cases/scripts;
- Train software engineers and end users; and
- Identify process deficiencies and propose improvements.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related area, with eight years of software development and three years of project lead experience;
- 2+ years' experience in a Technic
