Mandatory Domain Experience:
- Candidates must have
hands-on backend development experience in the Insurance/InsurTech domain
, preferably with
Motor Insurance

Claims Processing
, or
Claims Management Systems
.
- Candidates with experience building backend systems for
motor claim processing workflows
will be strongly preferred.
- Experience with workflows such as
FNOL (First Notice of Loss), claim registration, claim validation, document processing, claim assessment, surveyor allocation, approval/rejection, repair estimation, settlement and claim closure
is highly preferred.
- Experience integrating with
insurers, TPAs, garages/workshops, surveyors, OEMs, dealerships, payment providers or other motor-claims ecosystem partners
is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of
insurance APIs, policy/claim data, claim lifecycle and third-party integrations
is expected.
- Candidates should have worked on
production-grade backend systems
, not only QA/testing, support,



implementation or configuration of insurance products.

Responsibilities:
- Develop new and enhance existing microservices, libraries, and features that form our B2B KYC platform.
- Create and document APIs, Queue Contracts to be consumed by other services.
- Work closely with the Product and Engineering Leads to implement features following best design principles and patterns.
- Participate in all phases of the development cycle plan, design, implement, review, test, deploy, document, and training.
- Help junior developers with best practices like TDD etc. and make sure their code meets the standards.
- Educate them continuously to improve overall team performance and work quality.

- Bachelors/Masters in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Robust understanding of Computer Science fundamentals, software design principles, algorithms & design patterns.
