About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Financial Accountant with hands-on experience in financial accounting and reporting activities. The ideal candidate should have solid knowledge of General Ledger accounting, journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, financial reporting and Month-End Close.

Experience supporting US clients or international accounting teams will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day financial accounting activities.
- Maintain accurate General Ledger records.
- Prepare and post Journal Entries, Accruals, Prepayments and accounting adjustments.
- Perform Bank, Balance Sheet and General Ledger reconciliations.
- Review Trial Balance and investigate unusual balances.
- Perform account and variance analysis.
- Support AP, AR, Fixed Asset and Intercompany accounting activities where required.
- Support Month-End, Quarter-End and Year-End Close.




- Prepare financial reports and supporting schedules.
- Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies.
- Support internal and external audit requirements.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and internal controls.
- Support process improvement initiatives related to financial accounting and reporting.

Key Software

Microsoft Excel, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, Workday, QuickBooks, BlackLine, Power BI; experience with other ERP or accounting systems will also be considered.

Accounting & Financial Reporting Knowledge

Financial Accounting, General Ledger, Journal Entries, Accruals, Prepayments, Trial Balance, Bank Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, Month-End Close, Financial Reporting, Variance Analysis, Fixed Assets, Intercompany Accounting, US GAAP, IFRS, Internal Controls, Audit Documentation.

Qualifications & Skills
- B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance / Accounting
