Job Summary:
Responsible for managing day-to-day warehouse operations during the assigned shift, ensuring smooth inbound and outbound activities, inventory accuracy, productivity, safety, and proper team performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage warehouse operations and manpower during the assigned shift.
- Supervise receiving, put-away, picking, packing, dispatch, and loading/unloading.
- Allocate work to warehouse staff and monitor productivity.
- Ensure accurate inventory movement and stock reconciliation.
- Monitor FIFO/FEFO and proper storage practices where applicable.
- Ensure timely order processing and dispatch.
- Maintain warehouse housekeeping and safety standards.
- Handle shift-wise operational issues and coordinate with other departments.
- Monitor attendance, discipline, and performance of warehouse employees.
- Prepare shift reports covering productivity, stock movement, damages, shortages, and pending work.
- Coordinate with transport, procurement, sales, and customer-service teams as required.
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs and safety procedures.
- Train and guide warehouse staff on processes and equipment usage.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Graduate/Diploma preferred.
- 36 years of warehouse experience, preferably with supervisory/team-handling experience.
- Good knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management.
- Experience with WMS/ERP and MS Excel.
- Good communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in shifts and handle pressure.
- Solid problem-solving and team-management skills.
