We are looking for an experienced Purchase/Sourcing professional to manage end-to-end procurement activities for our automotive manufacturing
operations. The role involves supplier management, cost optimization, and ensuring timely availability of materials to support uninterrupted production.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle procurement of materials, components, tools, jigs, fixtures, and services as per business requirements
- Prepare and manage costing (Cost Card / PFS) in line with company guidelines
- Lead supplier negotiations, new supplier development, and business awards
- Release and manage Purchase Orders Schedule Agreements
- Collaborate with internal teams for new project sourcing, make-or-buy decisions, and cost reduction initiatives
- Ensure timely material availability to avoid production line stoppages
- Monitor and evaluate supplier performance, capacity planning,
and cost reduction targets
- Drive supplier consolidation and long-term sourcing strategies
- Manage procurement-related risks and escalate critical supply issues
Key Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Mechanical / Industrial Engineering (MBA preferred)
- 7 to 10years of experience in procurement/sourcing in the automotive industry
- Strong expertise in supplier negotiation, costing, and vendor management
- Valuable understanding of manufacturing processes and component costing
