Assistant Project Manager (MEP - QS)

Job Description Summary

We are seeking an experienced MEP QS & Billing Engineer to manage quantity surveying, contractor billing, cost estimation, budgeting, and commercial activities related to Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate quantity take-offs, certification of bills, cost control, and coordination with project stakeholders.

About the Role:
- - Prepare MEP quantity take-offs, BOQs, and cost estimates based on drawings and specifications.
- Verify contractor RA bills, final bills, and certify payments as per work progress.
- Monitor project budgets and track MEP cost variances.
- Prepare tender documents, BOQ comparisons, and vendor evaluations.
- Review and validate MEP measurements as per site execution.
- Track material consumption and reconcile quantities.
- Coordinate with site, design, procurement, and project management teams.
- Manage contract documentation, variations, change orders, and claims.
- Prepare monthly cost reports,



cash flow forecasts, and MIS reports.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, contractual requirements, and billing procedures.

About You:
- - B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
- 5-10 years of experience in MEP Quantity Surveying and Billing.
- Experience in commercial, residential, hospitality, healthcare, or industrial projects.
- Robust knowledge of MEP systems, BOQ preparation, rate analysis, and contract management.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, ERP/SAP, and billing software.
