1. Job Description Shift Logistics Supervisor
Roles & Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage day-to-day warehouse and logistics operations during the assigned shift.
- Lead and monitor the warehouse team to ensure smooth, safe, and effective material movement.
- Ensure truck loading and unloading operations are completed safely, accurately, and within the planned turnaround time.
- Drive 5S, housekeeping, visual management, and workplace organization across the warehouse facility.
- Ensure 100% accuracy in dispatch documentation, invoicing, delivery challans, and shipment records.
- Coordinate with Dispatch, Planning, Production, Stores, Transporters, and other cross-functional teams to ensure timely dispatches.
- Monitor vehicle movement, loading schedules, and truck turnaround time to improve logistics efficiency.
- Verify material quantity, identification, packaging, and documentation before dispatch.
- Track shift-wise operational performance and prepare MIS and daily logistics reports.




- Identify and resolve operational issues related to dispatch, loading, manpower, documentation, and material movement.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures, warehouse SOPs, statutory requirements, and company policies.
- Monitor manpower utilization and allocate resources effectively based on shift requirements.
- Conduct regular inventory and dispatch accuracy checks and support corrective actions for discrepancies.
- Coordinate with transporters and logistics partners to ensure on-time vehicle placement and delivery.
- Support continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives in warehouse and logistics operations.
- Ensure proper shift handover and communication to maintain uninterrupted 24/7 operations.
- Be flexible to work in rotational shifts, including night shifts, weekends, and holidays, as required.
