Position Summary

The Asset Management Specialist – Data Management will play a critical role in supporting the Asset management department by designing, maintaining, and optimizing data systems related to mechanical assets. This role ensures that technical data is accurate, accessible, and aligned with operational, procurement, and bidding activities. The specialist will collaborate with engineering, procurement, and operations teams to manage a centralized repository of equipment specifications, performance metrics, and vendor information.

Job Description

Key responsibilities
- Design and maintain scalable database schemas for plant and equipment specifications.
- Collect, validate, and input mechanical specifications, vendor data, cost estimates, and performance metrics.
- Develop and enforce standardized data templates, naming conventions, and documentation guidelines.




- Manage a centralized knowledge repository for all Plant & Equipment research and documentation.
- Coordinate with engineers, procurement specialists, and OEMs to resolve technical queries and source missing data.
- Produce regular reports, comparative analyses, and executive summaries to support Global Supply Chain (GSC) and project teams.
- Monitor and integrate industry standards, regulations, and best practices into documentation systems.
- Support bidding and project start-up activities, including feasibility studies and procurement processes.
- Ensure safety and environmental compliance is embedded in all Plant & Equipment documentation.
- Recommend and document plant improvement strategies based on data insights and technical evaluations.
