Job Description – AI/ML Engineer (Generative AI & LLM)

About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on AI/ML Engineer with 2+ years of experience to design, develop, and deploy AI-driven applications using Python, Large Language Models (LLMs), LangChain, and contemporary Generative AI technologies.
The ideal candidate should have practical experience building real-world AI/ML solutions, with a strong understanding of LLM-based applications, RAG pipelines, prompt engineering, model evaluation, NLP, and machine learning fundamentals. The candidate will work closely with software engineers, data scientists, and product teams to develop scalable and production-ready AI solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement AI/ML and Generative AI applications using Python and modern AI frameworks.
Develop LLM-powered applications using LangChain, LLM APIs, prompt engineering, and RAG architectures.
Build and optimize Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
pipelines using document processing, embeddings, vector databases, retrieval, and response generation.
Integrate and work with LLMs such as OpenAI, Gemini, Claude, Llama, or other open-source/proprietary models.
Develop machine learning and deep learning solutions for AI-driven business applications.
Perform data collection, preprocessing, cleaning, transformation, and analysis to prepare high-quality datasets for AI/ML applications.
Implement and evaluate prompt strategies, retrieval techniques, model outputs, and AI application performance.
Fine-tune or optimize models and AI pipelines where required to improve accuracy, relevance, latency, and overall performance.
Work with embeddings, vector databases, semantic search, and knowledge retrieval systems.
Develop APIs and backend services for AI applications using frameworks such as FastAPI or Flask.
