JOB TITLE: SENIOR MANAGER, FINANCE

LOCATION: NAVIMUMBAI, INDIA

KEY FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. FINANCIAL REPORTING

a.Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements as per Schedule III

b.Preparing monthly MIS report with analysis for the management

c.Preparing monthly financial pack for group level reporting

2. MANAGING STATUTORY AUDIT

a. Supporting the team in managing statutory audit

b. Co-ordinating with relevant teams for audit related documentation

3. MANAGING INTERNAL AUDIT

a. Responsible for end-to-end activities related to internal audit

b. Co-ordinating with finance and other business teams for internal audit requirements

c. Discussion with internal auditors with respect to their queries and resolving the same

d. Ensuring that the findings of internal audit are communicated to relevant teams

e. Track corrective actions suggested by the internal audit team and ensure the same are implemented withing agreed timeline

4. TAX COMPLIANCE

a. Ensure periodical compliances with respect to direct and indirect taxes are done on time





b.Timely response and follow up for tax assessments

c. Finalization of tax audit reports and income tax returns

5. ACCOUNTING AND OPERATIONS

a. Review and approval of accounting entries related to revenue, expenses, banking, fixed assets, etc.

b. Manage working capital

c. Finalization of trial balance on a monthly basis along with the team

d. Provide guidance for accounting of current transactions

6. PROCESS IMPROVEMENT AND AUTOMATION

a. Review of existing finance processes and improvement/updation of the same

b.Leverage SAP modules and reports to reduce manual effort of the team

REQUIREMENTS:
- Chartered Accountant
- 7 to 8 years of experience
- Experience in Financial reporting, MIS, taxation, accounting, etc. is preferred
- Understanding of basic principles of finance, accounting, and bookkeeping
- Superb time management and detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and G
