SMSF Executive

About the Role:

We are looking for an SMSF Executive to join our Australian KPO team and support the preparation and management of Self-Managed Superannuation Fund (SMSF) accounting and compliance work for Australian clients.

The ideal candidate should have a strong accounting background, excellent attention to detail, and an interest in developing expertise in Australian SMSF processes and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare SMSF financial statements, workpapers, and tax returns as per Australian accounting and compliance requirements.
- Perform bank, investment, contribution, rollover, pension, and other account reconciliations.
- Process and maintain accurate records of SMSF transactions and supporting documentation.
- Assist with SMSF compliance and audit preparation, including coordination with auditors and providing required information.
- Assist in preparing GST, PAYG, and other tax-related calculations and reports, wherever applicable.
- Review financial information for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable requirements.




- Communicate with senior team members and clients to obtain required information and resolve queries.
- Stay updated with Australian SMSF, taxation, and compliance requirements.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, accuracy, and turnaround time.

Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of experience in Indian Accounting; experience in a CA firm is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Strong knowledge of taxation, GST, and compliance.
- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
- Australian SMSF experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
