About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on Video Editor to join our Performance Creative team and create high-performing video ads for Meta and Instagram.
The role is ideal for someone who understands that performance video editing is not just about making content look positive. It is about creating scroll-stopping hooks, strong storytelling and engaging edits that drive viewers to watch, engage and take action.
You will work extensively with UGC (User-Generated Content) from parents, creators and influencers, turning raw footage into polished, authentic and conversion-focused Reels, Stories and Feed Ads.
Key ResponsibilitiesMeta Ad Editing
- Edit short-form video creatives for Meta and Instagram, including Reels, Stories and Feed Ads.
- Take videos from raw footage through to final export.
- Ensure the correct aspect ratios, captions, safe zones, audio levels and platform specifications.
- Create engaging 15–30 second video ads designed for performance.
UGC & Reel Editing
- Convert raw UGC footage from creators, influencers and in-house shoots into engaging ad creatives.
- Identify the strongest moments, dialogue and visuals from raw footage.
- Build compelling narratives while maintaining the authentic feel of UGC content.
- Add captions, transitions, music, sound effects, B-roll and other elements where required.
Hook & Creative Testing
- Create multiple versions of the same ad using different hooks, openings, pacing and CTAs.
- Understand what makes viewers stop scrolling in the first 1–3 seconds.
- Work with the Performance Marketing team to develop and test different creative concepts.
- Use performance insights such as CTR, watch time and hook rate to improve future edits.
Creative Library & Templates
- Maintain an organised library of high-performing hooks, B-roll, transitions and video assets.
