Roles and Responsibilities :
- Manage customs clearance processes for imports and exports, ensuring compliance with regulations and laws.
- Prepare and submit accurate customs documentation, including commercial invoices, bills of lading, and certificates of origin.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, carriers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely clearance of goods through customs.
- Analyze complex customs issues and provide solutions to minimize delays or penalties.
Job Requirements :
- 8-20 years of experience in custom clearance management or related field (e.g., EXIM).
- Solid knowledge of CHA (Customs House Agent) procedures and regulations.
- Proficiency in preparing various types of customs documentation (e.g., CIFS).
- Experience working with international trade transactions involving multiple countries.
