Role & responsibilities
- 5+years of Perform direct COGS accounting and ensure accurate monthly reporting.
- Manage inventory valuation, costing, and reconciliation processes.
- Handle standard costing, overhead absorption, and material cost variances, including:
- Purchase Price Variance (PPV)
- Freight Variance
- Manage inventory provisions, reserves, and valuation adjustments.
- Support physical inventory counts and cycle count coordination.
- Ensure accurate inventory reconciliation and inventory management.
- Apply IFRS and US GAAP requirements for inventory and COGS accounting.
- Support financial consolidation and month-end/year-end closing activities.
- Work extensively with SAP for inventory accounting, costing, reconciliation, and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and audit requirements.
