About Business Line/Function
Position Purpose:
We are looking for an experienced Integration Engineer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise‑grade integration solutions using
Apache

Camel and Spring

Boot
. The role sits at the center of our middleware landscape, connecting core banking, payments, and digital channels while ensuring high‑availability, scalability, and compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities
Direct Responsibilities

Design & Architecture
– Translate business integration requirements into technical designs, selecting appropriate Camel components and Spring Boot micro‑service patterns.

Implementation – Build, test, and deploy Camel routes (DSL, Java, XML) and Spring Boot services, leveraging Spring Cloud (Config, Kubernetes operators) where needed.

Message Mediation
– Implement routing, transformation, enrichment, validation, and error‑handling (DLQs, retries, compensating transactions) across protocols (REST, SOAP, JMS, Kafka, AMQP, SFTP, DB).





Performance & Reliability
– Optimize route performance, implement circuit‑breaker, throttling, and back‑pressure; set up health‑checks, metrics (Micrometer/Prometheus) and logging (SLF4J, Logback).

Security & Governance
– Apply security best practices (TLS, OAuth2/JWT, Spring Security, secret management), enforce data‑masking, and support audit‑trail requirements.

Support & Operations
– Provide 2nd/3rd‑line support, troubleshoot production incidents, perform root‑cause analysis, and create run‑books.

Contributing Responsibilities

Collaboration
– Work closely with Business Analysts, Product Owners, Data Engineers, and Infrastructure teams to ensure end‑to‑end solution integrity.

CI/CD & Automation
– Create pipeline definitions (GitLab, DevOps, Jenkins) for automated build, unit/integration testing (JUnit, Test containers), container image creation and Kubernetes deployment.

Knowledge Sharing
– Mentor junior
