We are seeking an experienced Azure L2 Support Engineer to support and manage Azure cloud access, identity, and infrastructure operations. The role will be responsible for handling Azure access requests, managing RBAC and privileged access, supporting Azure infrastructure components, automating access provisioning workflows, and ensuring compliance with access governance standards.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Azure IAM/Entra ID, ServiceNow integration, access lifecycle management, and troubleshooting access-related issues across Azure resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Azure Access Management
- Manage user access to Azure Resource Groups, Virtual Machines, Storage Accounts, and other Azure resources.
- Provision, modify, and revoke access based on approved requests.
- Support access management for Azure Data Lake environments.
- Ensure timely fulfillment of access requests while adhering to security policies and SLAs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Azure access-related incidents and service requests.
- Azure RBAC & Privileged Access Management
- Implement and manage Azure Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
- Assign and review built-in and custom roles across Azure subscriptions and resource groups.
- Administer Privileged Identity Management (PIM) for elevated access controls.
- Monitor privileged access activities and support periodic access reviews.
- Ensure least-privilege access principles are consistently applied.
- Azure Entra ID (IAM)
- Manage users, groups, service principals, and enterprise applications in Azure Entra ID.
- Support identity governance processes and access certification activities.
- Troubleshoot authentication and authorization issues.
- Maintain access governance and compliance standards.
- Access Automation & ServiceNow Integration
- Develop and support automated access provisioning and deprovisioning processes.
- Integrate Azure access workflows with ServiceNow.
