Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Procurement Manager to oversee our inventory and purchasing processes. In this role, you will manage the flow of raw materials through the production cycle, maintain optimal stock levels, and lead a team to ensure zero production downtime. The ideal candidate balances analytical forecasting with strong negotiation skills to keep operations lean and efficient.

Key Responsibilities

1. Inventory & Warehouse Management
- Maintain accurate inventory levels using ERP or MRP systems (like SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite).
- Conduct regular cycle counts and annual physical audits to ensure 100% data accuracy.
- Implement "First-In, First-Out" (FIFO) or "Just-In-Time" (JIT) strategies to minimize waste and carrying costs.

2. Procurement & Vendor Relations
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers to secure the best total cost of ownership.




- Evaluate vendor performance based on quality, lead times, and reliability.
- Identify and vet secondary suppliers to mitigate supply chain risks.

3. Production Planning
- Collaborate with the Production and Sales departments to forecast material needs.
- Monitor the production schedule to ensure all necessary components are available for upcoming builds.
- Manage the "Bill of Materials" (BOM) for accuracy and updates.

4. Logistics & Compliance
- Oversee receiving, shipping, and distribution workflows.
- Ensure all materials are handled and stored according to safety and environmental regulations (e.g., OSHA, ISO standards).
- Optimize shipping routes and freight costs.

Requirements & Qualifications

Education - Bachelors degree in Engineering.

Experience - 5 to 7+ years in materials management (Manufacturing background preferred).
