Role Description
The L1 IT Support Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai. This role involves providing first-level technical support for end users, including responding to help desk tickets, diagnosing basic hardware and software issues, and escalating complex problems when needed. The L1 IT Support Engineer will handle routine troubleshooting, user account setup, and system configuration under defined procedures.



Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring systems, documenting incidents and resolutions, supporting routine maintenance tasks, and ensuring timely, professional communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications
- Strong Technical Support and Help Desk Support skills for handling user queries, incident logging, and issue resolution.
- Knowledge of core Information Technology concepts and System Administration basics, including user accounts, permissions, and standard configurations.
- Proficiency in Troubleshooting common hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures, maintain transparent documentation, and work effectively within ticketing systems.
- Good communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain technical issues in clear, simple language.
