Design and build the scalable service and API layer that powers an automated code modernisation and migration platform, enabling large-scale analysis, transformation, and orchestration of legacy systems.
- Build and maintain scalable Python microservices and APIs that support and wrap agentic workflows
- Build and interact with MCP services and tools
- Ensure backend services are robust, well-tested, and production-ready
- Contribute to agentic architecture discussions
- Build AI / agentic features end-to-end on Azure
- Develop Python services and APIs for agent orchestration, tool use, and data flow
- Build TypeScript / React UIs for human-in-the-loop and review tooling
- Contribute to evaluation, guardrails, and production-readiness
- Write clear,
well-tested code; raise engineering practice
Preferred candidate profile
- Hands-on experience with LangChain and LangGraph, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), and MCP (Model Context Protocol) building real agentic applications, not just familiarity
- Robust Python engineering — clean, testable, production-grade code
- Strong hands-on Python and TypeScript / React
- Production experience on Azure (AKS, Functions, App Service, or equivalent)
- Comfortable working across back-end and front-end
- Solid testing, observability, and CI/CD habits
- Experience building microservices and RESTful APIs
