About the Role

Sigma Process Controls is looking for an enthusiastic and energetic Sales Intern to support our industrial sales and business development activities.

This internship is ideal for candidates who want to build a career in B2B sales, industrial equipment sales, technical sales, and business development. The selected candidate will receive practical exposure to dealing with industries, OEMs, dealers, contractors, and end users.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist the sales team in generating new business opportunities.
- Identify potential customers, industries, OEMs, dealers, and project opportunities.
- Make outbound calls and follow up on potential leads and enquiries.
- Maintain customer databases and update CRM records.
- Assist in preparing quotations, product details, and sales documents.
- Follow up with customers regarding enquiries and quotations.
- Support the team in scheduling customer meetings and product presentations.
- Conduct basic market research to identify new customers and industries.
- Assist with email communication and lead generation activities.




- Participate in field visits and customer meetings when required.
- Learn about and assist in promoting products such as:
- Industrial Pumps
- Submersible Pumps
- Roots Blowers
- Ring / Side Channel Blowers
- Ozonators
- Water & Wastewater Treatment Equipment

Candidate Requirements
- Freshers or students who have completed or are pursuing a degree/diploma.
- Candidates from Mechanical, Electrical, Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or related fields are preferred.
- Positive communication skills in Tamil and English.
- Interest in sales, business development, and industrial products.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office, Excel, email, and Google Sheets.
- Willingness to learn and take initiative.
- Good follow-up and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
