Assistant Manager- R2R
Responsibilities

Month-End Close, Reconciliations & End to End R2R
- Execute period-end close within agreed Timelines; prepare and post journal entries for accruals, prepayments, provisions, reclassifications, intercompany and FX revaluations, ensuring proper documentation and approval workflow.
- Own the reconciliation process for key accounts, proactively identify and address outstanding items, and support strong financial controls to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Deliver trial balance preparation, variance/flux analysis with commentary, and inputs into management reporting, consolidation, statutory accounts, and audit deliverables in line with US GAAP / IFRS.
- Sound understanding of GAAP / accounting concepts (accruals, matching, revenue recognition) with the ability to interpret requirements independently, meet strict deadlines with attention to detail, and perform root-cause analysis on variances.
- Excellent written and verbal English to coordinate with cross-functional teams and auditors; contribute to R2R process improvement,



and mentor junior staff.
Qualifications & Experience

1. Bachelors Degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting (B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance).
2. 5-7 years of relevant experience in General Ledger, Record-to-Report (R2R), and Month-End Close processes.
3. Strong understanding of accounting standards and financial reporting principles.
4. Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and practical experience using ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision) or NetSuite.
5. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
6. Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet strict deadlines.
7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
