About the Role

We are hiring
an
Azure SQL DBA – Migration & Administration
- Location: Bangalore, Pune, Hyderabad, Gurgaon
- Work Model: Hybrid
- Experience: 6+ years
- Notice Period: Immediate - 15 days

Azure Database Admin - SQL Installation and Configuration

* Plan and execute the migration of on-premises SQL Server databases

to Azure SQL Database, Azure SQL Managed Instance, or SQL Server on Azure

VMs.

* Install, configure, and maintain SQL Server instances in Azure,

ensuring optimal performance and high availability for migrated databases.

* Utilize Azure Database Migration Service (DMS) and other tools for

seamless and minimal-downtime database migrations.





* Implement and manage database security, including authentication,

authorization, and data encryption, for migrated Azure SQL solutions.

* Monitor and optimize the performance of migrated databases in Azure,

identifying and resolving any post-migration issues.

* Experience of working in clinical healthcare environments with an

understanding of Healthcare Data standards, Operational Processes and

Information Governance and Compliance.

* Experience in the implementation, running and migration of critical

clinical systems.

* Experience of working in secure Azure environments using a zero

trust approach to security

* Experience of High Availability and Disaster recovery options for

SQL within Azure (SQL on IaaS & SQL PaaS)
