Role & responsibilities
- The role will involve tracking domestic and global market developments, conducting technical and market analysis, analysing price action, open interest, volume, volatility and options data, and identifying short-term trading opportunities. The candidate will be responsible for preparing daily market reports, research notes and actionable trading ideas while maintaining a strong focus on risk management and market dynamics.
- Good knowledge of commodity markets, particularly Crude Oil, Gold, Silver, Natural Gas and other major commodities.
- Ability to conduct technical and market analysis and identify short-term trading opportunities.
- Strong understanding of open interest, volume, price action, volatility and options data.
- Ability to track domestic and global market developments and assess their impact on derivatives and commodity markets.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret market data eAectively.
- Good understanding of risk management,



position sizing and stop-loss discipline.
- Ability to prepare daily market/derivatives reports, trading ideas and research notes.
- Familiarity with market terminals and analytical tools such as TradingView or similar platforms would be an advantage.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to present market views and ideas in a simple, clear and actionable manner.
- Candidates with NISM or relevant certifications and prior experience in derivatives or commodity research/trading would be preferred.
