About the Role

Powerix Energy Services Private Limited is looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant – Accounts & Taxation to manage the company's day-to-day accounting operations, taxation compliances, banking activities, financial documentation and coordination with external consultants.

The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate books of accounts and ensuring timely completion of routine accounting, GST, TDS and other finance-related activities.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain day-to-day books of accounts, including sales, purchases, receipts, payments, expenses and journal entries.
- Prepare and verify sales and purchase invoices, including GST details, HSN/SAC and applicable tax rates.
- Handle GST compliance,



including preparation of GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B workings and reconciliation of Input Tax Credit with GSTR-2B.
- Handle TDS compliance, including TDS calculation, payment, return workings and reconciliation.
- Perform bank reconciliation and maintain proper records of bank transactions, receipts and payments.
- Maintain customer and vendor ledgers, receivables and payables, and regularly track outstanding balances.
- Prepare monthly accounting reports, expense statements and other reports as required by management.
- Coordinate with the CA, CS, auditors and tax consultants for GST, TDS, audit, ITR and other statutory compliance requirements.
- Maintain proper physical and digital records of invoices, bills, GST/TDS documents, bank statements and other financial documents.
- Assist in resolving accounting discrepancies and ensure timely closure of books.
