Role & responsibilities
- Manage the complete sales process, including prospecting, lead generation, qualification, cold calling, email campaigns, online networking, marketing activities, customer follow-up, and deal closure.
- Handle pre-sales and business development for software products and solutions.
- Identify recent business opportunities, generate leads, set up client meetings, and convert prospects into customers.
- Develop and improve lead and prospect data collection techniques.
- Communicate new software products, services, and solutions effectively to prospective clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and business partners.
- Manage software product sales and technology services/solutions selling.
- Prepare structured sales reports and provide regular updates to the VP Customer Relations.
- Conduct market mapping, data gathering, competitor research, and analysis.
- Track sales performance, identify improvement areas, and develop effective sales strategies.
- Manage time effectively, prioritize tasks,



and handle multiple responsibilities under pressure.
- Stay updated with new software technologies, industry trends, and emerging sales strategies.
- Negotiate effectively with clients, partners, resellers, and vendors to close deals.
- Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Be energetic, self-motivated, and focused on building professional relationships.
- Work effectively in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced, and target-driven environment.
- Maintain accurate customer records, sales data, forecasts, and pipeline reports.
- Demonstrate adaptability, analytical thinking, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred candidate profile
- Bachelors/Masters degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- 8–10 years of experience in Software Sales and Business Development.
- Strong B2B sales, lead generation, cold calling, and marketing experience.
