The Trainee Programme
This is a fresher-friendly entry point into Sustainext's tech team, designed for candidates who don't yet have professional work experience but have demonstrated real engineering ability through strong projects completed as part of their graduation curriculum or self-driven builds.
How it works
- Months 1–3 (Traineeship): You join as a Trainee on a fixed stipend.
This period is used for structured onboarding, mentored project work, and a genuine evaluation of fit on live or near-live engineering problems.
- On successful completion: You are absorbed into a full-time role on the relevant track (Frontend / Backend / Full Stack Developer), with the compensation structure and statutory benefits described under Remuneration & Perks below.
- Extension/exit: If more time is needed to assess fit, the traineeship may be extended by mutual agreement; if the fit isn't right, the engagement ends at or before the 3-month mark.
Frontend Developer — Trainee
As a Frontend Developer Trainee, you'll work on the interfaces ESG analysts, auditors and enterprise admins use - dashboards, multi-step disclosure workflows, schema-driven forms, and real-time/streaming views into GaiaLM's agentic outputs.
