We are seeking a dynamic and technically competent Technical Sales Engineer to join our team at our Kochi office. The ideal candidate should possess a strong engineering background along with excellent communication, sales, and business development skills.
The role involves developing and maintaining client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, monitoring tender opportunities, supporting the bidding process, and contributing to the company's business growth.
Educational Qualification
B.Tech in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or Ocean Engineering.
Experience
3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role or as an Engineer in a Design Consultancy, Shipyard, or Ship Owner organisation.
Candidates with relevant skills and strong potential, even with less experience, are also encouraged to apply.
Desired Skills and Qualities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills from both technical and sales perspectives.
Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
Hands-on experience in Ship Design Projects, Offshore Engineering Projects, Structural Analysis Works, or Process Equipment Package Projects.
Experience in sales or business development activities related to similar projects.
Self-starter with a proactive and goal-oriented approach.
Ability to meet assigned quarterly sales targets, registration targets, and new client acquisition targets.
Key Responsibilities
Regularly engage with existing clients and generate current business enquiries.
Identify and develop relationships with new clients.
Monitor government portals and other relevant platforms for new tender opportunities.
Follow up with clients on submitted bids until their final conclusion.
Lead the process of registering the organization as an approved service provider with major companies and organizations.
