Quality management is involving in Quality Control and Quality Assurance activities including material inspection, process study and Supplier Audits. They also perform other duties such as preparing reports, tracking orders, ensuring timely deliveries, and reviewing the quality of purchased products.
Role Purpose
The Quality inspector is responsible to inspect the product at designed area of inspection against organization s standards and specifications. He will be responsible to identify and document the defects and prevent any defective material is used for sales or production.
Major Roles and Responsibilities
- Inspect raw materials, components, and finished products for defects or compliance issues.
- Utilize advanced testing tools, equipment, and techniques to assess quality parameters, work with the authority to make decisions on corrective actions based on results.
- Ensure that testing methods align with industry standards and company specifications.
- Monitor production processes, identify inefficiencies, and implement corrective actions to enhance product quality.
- Collaborate with suppliers to resolve quality issues and ensure the consistent supply of defect-free materials.
- Lead internal and external audits to ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards.
- Document and report quality issues, non-conformities, and corrective actions taken.
- Analyze, quality data to identify trends, root causes, and areas for continuous improvement.
- Manage calibration and maintenance of quality control equipment, ensuring proper functionality.
- Ensure compliance with quality management systems and update standard operating procedures as necessary.
- Maintain supplier relationships and monitor their performance to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
