Utilities Engineer Job Story

We are looking for an experienced Utilities Engineer to lead and manage utilities operations, maintenance activities, and facility support functions at our Aurangabad location. The role is responsible for ensuring uninterrupted operation of critical utilities systems while maintaining compliance with GMP, EHS, and quality standards.

The candidate will oversee operation and maintenance of utilities such as HVAC, Clean Room systems, Chilled Water, Steam Generation Distribution, RO Water, Nitrogen Generator, Process Exhaust, WWTP, ETO Scrubber, BMS, LTHW, gases, sprinklers, and other process utilities. The role also involves preventive maintenance planning, breakdown management, utilities validation, documentation, vendor management, AMC handling, and support for new utility installations and commissioning activities.

The ideal candidate should have strong exposure to facilities and utilities management in a regulated manufacturing workplace with knowledge of cGMP practices, clean room maintenance, ISO 14644-1 compliance, energy management, safety systems,



and project execution. The position requires experience in cost control, procurement support, spare management, capital projects, and continuous improvement initiatives.

The person will work closely with cross-functional teams including Quality, Engineering, EHS, Operations, and external regulatory authorities to ensure operational excellence and compliance. The role also includes stakeholder management, contractor supervision, team performance management, and driving a culture of safety, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications Experience:
Bachelor s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
8 10 years of experience in utilities/facilities maintenance
Strong knowledge of industrial utilities systems and maintenance practices
Experience in GMP/compliance-driven manufacturing environment
Exposure to vendor management, audits, and project execution
