Role Summary

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated PYP Facilitator to design and deliver inquiry-based learning experiences for primary-year students, in keeping with the philosophy and framework of the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP). The ideal candidate is a reflective practitioner who champions student agency, conceptual understanding, and transdisciplinary learning, and who can create a nurturing, stimulating classroom setting aligned with the IB learner profile and attitudes.



Candidates with an IB PYP certification are preferred.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan, deliver, and assess units of inquiry through the transdisciplinary themes of the PYP framework.
- Facilitate student-led inquiry, encouraging curiosity, critical thinking, and independent learning.
- Develop and implement engaging, differentiated lesson plans that address diverse learning needs and styles.
- Integrate the IB learner profile attributes and approaches to learning (ATLs) into daily classroom practice.
- Collaborate with fellow facilitators, the PYP Coordinator, and specialist teachers to plan and refine units of inquiry.
- Use formative and summative assessment strategies to monitor and report on student progress, providing timely, constructive feedback.
- Maintain accurate student records, portfolios, and documentation as per IB and school requirements.
